Orphans and AIDS

Their have been 17 million deaths due to AIDS. Some of those deaths were leaving behind their children. The orphans often have to live in poverty by themselves while caring for their younger siblings. They are given responsibility that most children don't have, and are losing their childhood because. Or, they are put into the care of extended family, some grandparents have to take care of their grandchildren and they usually can't provide for the family. One in every four Zambian children is an orphan. AIDS has killed almost an entire generation.
